ABOUT KAITLIN DIAZ,
Early in life, Kaitlin Diaz’s desire to help facilitate change led her to Costa Rica on mission trips, where she realized that she was being called to work with people on an intimate level as her life’s work. As a licensed social worker, she has worked closely with children, adolescents, and adults as they approach topics ranging from everyday stressors and anxieties.
Kaitlin’s practice utilizes mindfulness meditation, play, yoga-based movement and breathing, self-care, and homework to ensure that the wellness process continues after the session is over. Her therapeutic approach is supported by evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Narrative Therapy, among others.
KAITLIN DIAZ’S APPROACH TO THERAPY
I enjoy facilitating a supportive, healing, and confidential space for my clients while providing tools and coping mechanisms that can help on the road to relief, peace and clarity. I look at the therapeutic process as a journey; there are many ways to navigate this journey, and it will be customized specifically to your needs and strengths. I plan for my loving and playful Goldendoodle, Nala, to join me for therapy after completion of her therapy training.
In my spare time, I enjoy being present with my husband and 4 children, practicing yoga, and spending time outdoors.
