About Nicoletta Yuelys, MSW, LSW:
I have always been drawn to helping others, and my role as a therapist allows me to follow my passion. I offer a supportive, caring, and welcoming space for children and young adults navigating life’s challenges. My extensive experience as a school social worker, working with students from Pre-K through 8th grade, has provided me with a nuanced understanding of the diverse developmental, social, and emotional landscapes that young people encounter. In addition, I held groups for young children during the COVID-19 pandemic to help provide emotional and social support during that challenging time. My background has shaped my approach, allowing me to connect authentically and tailor my support to meet the unique needs of each individual I work with, fostering a sense of safety and trust essential for growth and healing.
In my free time, you’ll find me hanging out with friends, driving to the beach, or spending quality time with my family and dog, Nash. I love trying new things, such as a different exercise class or going to a new restaurant to experience a new cuisine. My friends and family mean the most to me, so quality time with loved ones is my comfort zone.
Approach to therapy
As a Licensed Social Worker, I work with children, adolescents, and adults to address a wide range of concerns, from anxiety and depression to life transitions, coping skills and techniques, relationship issues, and other life stressors. I provide a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space to guide you through a collaborative therapeutic process. Whether you are seeking therapy in response to difficulties with life changes, feelings of being overwhelmed, or seeking self-exploration and personal growth, together we can work to identify and explore the challenges interfering with your goals to allow you to live a more fulfilling life.
