JANEL BLAKE’S APPROACH TO THERAPY
I bring a calm and nurturing approach to help youth and their families navigate life’s challenges. Helping children involves working closely with families by providing psychoeducation, parent coaching, and developing effective behavioral strategies.
Individual sessions with children and adolescents are geared toward decreasing symptoms, improving emotional regulation, and increasing the child’s self-awareness and self-worth. I believe in teaching children concrete strategies to build their confidence and skills needed to manage their emotions and deepen their self-reliance in problem solving.
I am drawn to the resilient nature of youth and believe in their innate ability to grow, heal and thrive. Together, we have the power to create positive changes, equipping your child with the essential tools to navigate life’s ups and downs.
