What to Expect

Getting Started Is Easy
When you reach out to us, you’ll hear back within 24-48 hours—usually the same day or next business day. We’ll set up a brief phone call to understand what brings you to counseling, what you’re hoping to work on, and answer any questions you have.
We Help You Find the Right Match
Finding the right therapist matters. During your initial call, we’ll learn about your needs, preferences, and goals. Then we’ll match you with a counselor whose skills, approach, and personality fit what you’re looking for. With 25+ counselors on our team, we can find someone who’s right for you.
Your First Session
Your initial session is typically 50-60 minutes. You’ll discuss what brings you to counseling, explore your goals together, and begin building a relationship with your therapist. Some people feel relief after just one session; for others, it takes a few sessions to start feeling a shift.
Setting Goals Together
We believe therapy works best when there’s a clear focus. Your counselor will work with you to identify goals—whether that’s managing anxiety, improving relationships, navigating a life transition, or something else entirely. Throughout your sessions, they’ll help you track progress and adjust focus as needed.

We accept out-of-network benefits with most major insurance plans including Horizon BCBS, Cigna, Aetna, United Healthcare/Oxford, Humana/TRICARE, and other commercial and federal plans.

For your convenience, our administrative team will submit claims on your behalf and assist with any questions about billing or reimbursement. You focus on healing—we’ll handle the insurance details.
