EMILY KLINE’S APPROACH TO THERAPY
Building a therapeutic relationship that provides an intentional safe space is something that is vital to working with individuals and families in therapy. It is vital to work on building up, repairing, or even adjusting to navigating what a healthy relationship would look like for someone with their clinician. By providing a space in which clients can feel vulnerable or exposed at the most raw times in their lives, I create comfort, security, and empathy through some of the darkest times. I believe movement, active engagement, and my hands-on approach to therapy has helped me relate to clients of varied journeys and ages. Treating our clients with dignity and worth is a cornerstone brief in my practice of which I stand by.
