When Starting or Growing Your Family Feels Overwhelming

The path to parenthood doesn’t always look the way we imagined. Whether you’re facing infertility, pregnancy loss, or struggling during pregnancy or postpartum, you deserve specialized support from counselors who truly understand. Our perinatal mental health specialists are here to walk alongside you through every challenge and transition.

Why Reproductive & Perinatal Mental Health Matters

Fertility struggles, pregnancy loss, and perinatal mental health challenges can feel isolating and overwhelming. Many people suffer in silence, unsure where to turn or whether what they’re experiencing is “normal.”

At Beautiful Journey, our reproductive and perinatal specialists provide expert, compassionate care for
individuals and couples navigating these deeply personal experiences. We understand the unique emotional, physical, and relational impacts—because we’ve been specially trained in perinatal mental health, and some of us
have lived through these challenges ourselves.

PMH-C Certified Specialists on Staff

We have counselors with advanced certification (PMH-C) in perinatal mental health. This specialized training means they understand how hormonal shifts, medical interventions, and life transitions affect your mental health.

Coordinating Care with Your Medical Team Counseling

We collaborate with your OB-GYN, reproductive endocrinologist, midwife, or other medical providers to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care.

How We Support You

Individual Counseling

We provide individual counseling to address the specific reproductive mental health needs of each person. Our counselors are experienced in working with a wide range of challenges, from perinatal mood and anxiety disorders to fertility concerns and pregnancy loss.

We believe in tailoring our approach to meet your unique needs, ensuring personalized care throughout your journey. We offer a safe and non-judgmental space where you can openly express your feelings, find understanding, and receive compassionate support from counselors who specialize in working with these complex issues.

Couples Counseling

Reproductive challenges affect relationships. We offer couples counseling to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for both partners to share their thoughts and feelings about your reproductive journey.

Through open communication, we help you feel heard and understood, fostering empathy and compassion. Together, we’ll work to deepen your connection and navigate challenges as a team—supporting each other rather than growing apart.

Group Counseling

We provide group counseling for reproductive mental health, offering a unique and supportive space to connect with others navigating similar challenges. In this shared environment, you can express your thoughts and emotions, gain insights from others’ experiences, and build a sense of community.

Group counseling creates a validating community where participants share their experiences, fostering a sense of belonging and understanding. Together, we provide encouragement and support throughout your reproductive journey.

Our Approach

What Parents Are Saying

“Within 10 to 15 days after having my son, I knew something was up emotionally. Everyone else said it would be months on a wait list, but Beautiful Journey got me in within a week. They got me back on track, and the things I learned from my counselor still resonate with me today, years later. Beautiful Journey was significant in my recovery.”

What Healthcare Professionals Say

“One of the things that I appreciate about Beautiful Journey is that when I refer a patient, they’re going to get a call back. I’ve never had somebody say ‘I reached out to them and I didn’t hear back.’ It lightens the load for me—I have comfort in knowing that my patients are being taken care of by people who know what they’re doing.”

— Reproductive Psychiatrist

“They’re my main therapy referral for mental health for women, whether they’re pregnant or not. They nurture our relationship and follow up—they verbalize caring, which is meaningful as a professional.”

— Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist

“I know when I refer people there, they feel very well taken care of. They feel very comfortable going there. They really feel that they have the best support at Beautiful Journey on all different stages of their path to creating family and supporting families. Their teamwork is strong—they’re a very tight-knit community of people who love what they do and care about what they do.”
