BRIANNA HIMPELE’S APPROACH TO THERAPY
One of my main tenets in therapy is building a strong rapport with my clients by allowing them to feel connected to me as a person, and not simply as a therapist.
Humans crave connection, and facilitating a strong therapeutic relationship is key to the therapy work I do. My number one priority is to convey safety, comfort, and empathy. Having worked with clients of all ages has allowed me to build positive connections at all different levels, and to facilitate change in many different ways. From my youngest clients to my eldest, I appreciate everyone’s strengths, and work toward positive life changes.
As a therapist, I recognize the importance of constantly expanding and growing my knowledge to better serve my clients. I practice my own self-care religiously as I know it is important for me “to water myself before watering others.”
I am a native of Ocean County and I like to hike, kayak, go to the beach, work out, read, and spend time with my family and friends in my free time.
