With more than 13 years of experience in healthcare billing and customer service, Gizem knows the ins and outs of medical billing and insurance. She brings a depth of knowledge to Beautiful Journey Counseling® and is a go-to resource for navigating billing questions, working through insurance challenges, and making sense of the details that can sometimes feel overwhelming.

In her role, Gizem supports the practice’s billing operations, including insurance claims, client payments, and benefits-related inquiries. With her extensive knowledge of medical billing and insurance, she helps clients and families navigate billing questions, understand their benefits and payment responsibilities, and resolve insurance-related issues. She understands that insurance and billing can feel confusing for clients and families, and she takes pride in making the process clearer and easier to navigate. As part of our billing team, Gizem helps make the financial side of accessing care as clear and straightforward as possible, so clients and families can focus on their care.

Outside of work, Gizem enjoys tackling DIY home projects, everything planting and gardening  and exploring new adventures with her husband and their two dogs.
