About Rachel Gaul

Rachel is an early-career therapist with a strong foundation in supporting children and their families. She brings five years of experience working as a school social worker, where she specializes in helping children navigate emotional, behavioral, and social challenges within the school environment. She is currently working toward her clinical licensure and is on track to be fully licensed by early next year. She is enthusiastic about empowering children and their families and is looking forward to continuing this work in a therapeutic, private practice setting.

In her free time Rachel enjoys being present with friends and family, trying new recipes, going to Pilates and reading mystery novels.

Rachel Gaul's Approach To Therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and developmentally perceptive, always aiming to create a safe and supportive space for children and adolescents to express themselves and grow.

As a clinician, I draw from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and mindfulness techniques to help children build emotional regulation skills, increase self-awareness, and manage anxiety, depression, and other challenges. I also incorporate elements of play therapy, understanding that play is vital for children and serves as a method for learning about themselves and the world around them.

My goal is to provide children with a safe and supportive space to foster their growth and healing!
