Tara Timpone’s Approach to therapy
In counseling sessions, it is important to me to build rapport with the clients that I am working with. I utilize a variety of techniques to empower clients by focusing on their inherent abilities and resources. I create a calming environment that fosters relaxation and safety, allowing clients to feel comfortable and open during sessions. My client-centered therapy ensures that the individual’s needs and perspectives drive the therapeutic process, promoting a sense of autonomy and respect. I also help clients identify and build on positive outcomes and effective strategies.
Additionally, I integrate techniques to help clients identify and modify unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors, facilitating long-term change and improved mental health. This comprehensive approach supports clients in achieving their therapeutic goals in a holistic and empowering manner.
My goal is for my clients be the best version of themselves.
